I am really glad to see that Ancestryprogenealogists Scholarship will be back this year. The Ancestryprogenealogists Scholarship is part of their effort to make genealogy easier for you, and I’m very excited about this!
This scholarship is available for any graduating high school senior or undergraduate currently attending a four-year university. Don’t worry if you are not able to decide on a major just yet. All you will need is your official transcript, three letters of recommendation, and a personal statement that discusses why you want to pursue genealogy as a career path.
There are several reasons why I love the Ancestryprogenealogists Scholarship. Here are just a few:
It’s an easy way for me to get my family history done quickly and professionally. I can have my work completed in less than half the time it would take me to do it myself.
I don’t have to worry about hiring someone to do it for me since it’s already done for me. If I ever need help with something, I can always ask them for help!

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a creative, well-written essay on genealogy and how it relates to the student’s career goals. For example, if you are planning on becoming a history teacher, discuss how genealogy can be used as a tool in teaching history. Or if you are going to pursue a career in public health, how might genealogy help you understand population trends? How could it help you predict future epidemics? You could also discuss something more personal like how your own family history has informed your decision to pursue a particular field of study or career path
To apply for this scholarship, please submit an essay between 1,000 and 2,500 words answering one of the following questions:
