ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is named in honor of Leo Collins Sr., who was a hardworking custodian at Amite High School for years.
He served as a responsible adult role model for students with his demonstration of pride in his work and attention to detail.
Dr. Jesse Fussellwas a former graduate of Amite High who is creating a new scholarship for him and fellow alumni to help give all current students the opportunity to continue their education.
Dr. Jesse Fussell gives credit to Amite High School for his success to be able to give back now.
The scholarship base on both female and male.
WORTH OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will awarded to one female and one male graduate annually.
The scholarship will be based on the minimum ACT score of 20.
